Responsibilities:
Drive our AI-first strategy from a technical perspective. You are expected to architect and guide the practical integration of AI into both our product and our internal development processes, setting the technical direction.
Address deep technical problems inherent in a large-scale, enterprise-grade migration service. Make critical architectural and technological decisions to ensure long-term scalability, reliability, and performance.
Influence the success of major enterprise cloud adoptions, making a tangible and visible impact on Google Cloud's growth and our customers' cloud journeys.
Shape the technical goal and future of a key product by combining your deep engineering expertise with your goal for what's possible with modern cloud and AI technologies.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience building enterprise grade software including design, implementation (e.g., backend) and testing.
Experience with technologies related to enterprise applications, including virtualization, storage, networking, etc.
Experience with coding in one or more languages such as Python, Scala, Java, Go, or similar with data structures and algorithms, and software design.
Experience working with cloud services and solutions (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) and contributing to the design of systems running on these platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with migrating or modernizing enterprise applications.
Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) design and integration.
Solid understanding of Enterprise customer needs and experience working on enterprise-grade software.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
