Software Dev Engineer II, Mesa

Description:
Come help Amazon Books create and deploy the technology that gets every book, audiobook, and digital title in front of readers around the world. As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will be instrumental in building the publishing systems that take a title from the moment an author or publisher submits it through Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) all the way to a live, discoverable listing across more than 15 global marketplaces. Your work directly shapes the experience of millions of readers, authors, and publishers.
At Amazon, we hire the best minds in technology to innovate and build on behalf of our customers. The focus we have on our customers is why we are one of the world's most beloved brands, and customer obsession is part of our company DNA. On the Books publishing technology team, our customers are the authors and publishers who trust us with their work and the readers who discover it. Our SDEs use the latest technology to solve complex problems in catalog orchestration, publishing workflows, and reporting, and they get to see the impact of their work first-hand.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating new products, features, and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of a team where development cycles are measured in weeks, not years. If building the technology behind one of the largest publishing platforms in the world sounds interesting to you, apply and come chart your own path at Amazon Books.
