Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts and software tools using Python and C++ to enhance VLSI design and CAD environment efficiency.
Assist executive CAD engineers in integrating and supporting commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools within the CI2 design flow.
Collaborate with design and verification teams to debug and resolve tool and flow issues, contributing to productivity improvements.
Contribute to documentation, standardization, and version control (e.g., Git) practices for CAD tools and methodologies.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of industry experience in semiconductor CAD/automation or internship experience.
Experience with coding and software development in Python or C++.
Experience with version control systems, Linux/Unix operating systems, and shell scripting.
Experience with standard VLSI design concepts and flows.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
Working experience in advanced technology nodes.
