Software Development Engineer

Growth Team
: Building off Adobe Express’s initial success, we are now re-imagining the way people discover, create, and publish the full range of media types - from graphics to imaging to video, right in the browser and on mobile devices. The Growth (Engagement) team will build new features, experiences, and product integrations to improve user engagement.
Computer Scientist: Frontend-heavy Fullstack developer
What you’ll do:
Prototype, develop, and unit-test scalable features in the highest quality
Collaborate with teammates on the best approaches for problem solving
Perform code reviews, provide feedback to team members on coding techniques and respond effectively to feedback from reviewers
Plan, develop, monitor and evolve needed infrastructure in collaboration with Ops partners
Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues
Adopt a highly reciprocal team that requires effective communication and quality contributions across multiple geographies
Requirements:
BTech/ M.Tech from a premier institute in Computer Science or related fields or extensive software development experience.
Frontend engineer, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, who will develop responsive, scalable user interfaces. The ideal candidate is strong in frontend engineering but comfortable working across the stack to integrate APIs, deploy backend services, and ensure smooth end-to-end functionality.
Strong proficiency in
Web Component
,
React
(hooks, context API, state management) and solid working knowledge of at least one other modern framework, along with JavaScript (ES6+) and
TypeScript
. Hands-on with Mobx, lit is good to have.
Hands-on experience with frontend tooling and testing - including build tools (Webpack, Vite), CSS frameworks (Tailwind, SASS/SCSS, Styled Components), and testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or
Playwright
)
Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design, and performance.
Creative troubleshooting skills, ability to construct creative approaches to problems
Excellent communication skills. Willingness to work under pressure. Hunger to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of
AgenticAI
engineering tools and practices - including AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor), prompt engineering for code generation, and the ability to integrate and interact with LLM-based APIs or agent frameworks in frontend applications.
Experience with
Native mobile
technologies like Kotlin/Java, Swift are good-to-have.
