Staff Software Engineer, GCP CSM

Responsibilities:
Work closely with EMs, TLMs, Product Management, TPMs to drive long term technical direction.
Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems.
Create consistent and reliable experiences across all GKE platforms (including on-prem, GDC, and multicloud) for customers, and to enable first party workloads.
Take on personal ownership and growth for a dynamic and growing product that is core to the future of service networking in Google cloud.
Build innovative systems and tools that make common operations (installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting) on customer's projects and clusters frictionless, resilient, and insightful.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development and design.
8 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience with cloud compute platforms like Kubernetes, Cloud Functions.

Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
Experience in network infrastructure and software-defined networking.
Domain expertise in distributed systems, computer architecture, networking, cloud infrastructure, and Google Cloud platform services.
