About the job:
You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Write clear, modular, well-structured, and self-sustaining codes and develop recommendations on those applications. Develop overall systems design and research, and evaluate vendor supplied applications.
Build internal solutions, with custom front-end and back-end services with minimal assistance, and identify processes and solutions to ensure control compliance can be enforced and monitored.
Help design, build, and deploy internal business applications to support Google’s technology lifecycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, and data and business intelligence.
Conduct and oversee testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications and collaborate with analysts and business process owners within one or more teams to help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience working with SAP HANA, BW, S/4 HANA, SQL and data modeling.
Experience with ABAP and the latest SAP development methodologies including Fiori/ UI5/CDS, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript).
Experience with leading high-level strategic consultations with cross-functional technical teams to analyze comprehensive program goals, map complex technical dependencies, and engineer optimal integration solutions across SAP ecosystems and proprietary First-Party (1P) products.
Proven ability to deliver complex software projects, involving high volume and secure system integrations at scale.
