Principal Engineer

What you will do:
You will be responsible for creating innovative platforms, tools and solutions to enable seamless and secure data integration. You will design scalable, secured high performant data architecture in cloud.
You will design and develop generative AI models that can create new content, such as images, videos, and music.
You will provide over all technical leadership for the team which involves understanding the fundamentals of deep learning and machine learning algorithms and applying them to develop models that can generate realistic and high-quality content.
Cloud Data and Analytics (CDA) function gives our firm colleagues the ability to generate valuable insights through a scalable, highly responsive and value driven data and analytics framework.
You will shape and accelerate the delivery of Cloud based services and processes that run real time analytics.
You’ll be a member of a team in one of our global technology hubs in Bengaluru.

Your background:
10+ years of IT experience with bachelor's/master's degree from college/university in technology related field
Extensive knowledge and experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data catalog, metadata management framework and implementation
Develop end to end architecture, data architecture, technical architecture, data flows, and work with key stakeholders for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with industry trends and standards; prepares and reviews cost estimates; conducts review meetings and prepares summary report
Prior experience in AI/ML / Gen AI and Big Data is required
Hands on experience of developing data models, applications and APIs
Experience in building robust and scalable data integration (ETL/ELT) pipelines
Strong understanding of data governance & knowledge of Agile software development process
Experience in building reusable assets & frameworks
Hands-on experience with Big Data processing technologies like Hadoop/Spark
Broad experience across the application development technologies and in-depth skills with at least one: Python, and/or other open source application development frameworks
Familiarity with various cloud technologies such as AWS (EMR, lambda, dynamodb, glue, api gateway etc.)
Proficient in building large scale systems end to end using Python, developer tools, CI/CD, DevOps, Github, Terraform
Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker); experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security
Experience in AI/ML developing algorithms in data quality, data masking area using Python
University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing - in English as well as the local office language
