What you will do:
You will be required to handle an offshore team of tax provision and reporting with the ability to provide support and oversight of process improvement implementations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax provision process.
Your responsibilities will include:
finalization of world-wide tax provision for the consolidated US GAAP financials statements, preparation of profit split computations for global transfer pricing (including preparing the US GAAP entity results, consolidation, audit schedules, TP invoicing support etc.), and estimations for quarterly reporting and tax provision true ups;
reviewing the process of compilation of book to tax differences for all firm entities for deferred and current tax computations; this includes review of tax returns and coordination with various tax experts, office finance teams and advisors in certain countries;
handling the US statutory audit process related to global tax provision, agreed upon procedures for profit split calculations, documentation of processes followed, and work performed, and other tax accounting related tasks as assigned on a time-to-time basis.
You will work with the Corporate Tax Team in our Gurgaon office. The team oversees the preparation of the firm’s corporate tax returns in all the countries where it operates, together with the preparation of the statutory financial statements for the operations in those countries. The team also manages the corporate tax position, including our transfer pricing arrangements, and coordinates the responses to corporate tax audits.
This is an internal, non-client facing role to work in the US tax function comprising of 5-6 team members, which is part of Corporate Tax Team. You will have to work with the non-US tax team to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the foreign tax credits.

Your background:
A qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience (post qualification)
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to drive projects successfully
Initiative and desire to excel
Strong accounting (understanding of GAAP)
Basic tax knowledge
Capability to review the work of team members
Proven track record of client service
Ability to develop relationships and network
Ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to solve complex accounting problems
