Finance Team Lead - Timesheet & Expense Reimbursement

What you will do:
You'll be responsible for a variety of activities related to expense reimbursements, time sheet process and primarily supervising a team of 5 - 10 members to ensure timely auditing of expense reports and closing time sheets.
You'll be responsible for achieving the operational targets agreed with offices and regional CFOs by adhering to compliance with policies and procedures, operational excellence, etc.
You'll regularly analyze the process, identify areas of improvement, and recommend new ideas to improve the overall process and thereby improving the customer satisfaction. You'll be an effective team player and work along with other teams to achieve the common goals of the firm.
You'll be partnering with the functional leadership to identify issues, gather necessary information, use them for solving problems by implementing practical solutions.
You'll be responsible for assessing your team members’ performance objectively, identify their training needs, and organize appropriate training. You'll provide regular constructive feedback to your team members on their performances. You'll also resolve conflicts between members effectively and efficiently.
You'll facilitate and impart functional training for team members. You'll ensure policy changes, business process documentations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are updated regularly. You'll communicate, enforce, and ensure complete adherence to firm’s policies and guidelines from your team members.
You will be based in our Gurugram office as a part of our Finance Global Operations team, coordinating with regional and global office accounting teams, firm colleagues and application support team.

Your background:
Graduate in finance/accounting
6+ plus years of experience, with 2 years in leading a team of 5-10 members in a multinational shared services environment
Exposure to managing global clients
Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
