Job Title: Senior Manager – Buying (Private Labels)
Position Overview
As the
Senior Manager – Key Account Management (Private Labels)
, you will take strategic and operational ownership of scaling Myntra’s flagship In-House Fashion Brands. You will lead top-line growth across a diverse portfolio of established and newly launched private brands, driving market share and customer engagement.
By marrying high-tempo commercial execution with agile supply chain processes—spanning dynamic trend bets, speed-to-market initiatives, pricing integrity, and consumer research—you will solidify Myntra’s market leadership in fashion while mentoring a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Growth & Portfolio Strategy
Portfolio P&L Ownership:
Drive top-line revenue, volume growth, and contribution margins across assigned in-house brand portfolios.
Segment Strategy:
Design and execute segmented growth plans across core, growth, and emerging brand tiers to maximize market penetration and platform visibility.
Business Governance:
Monitor brand performance metrics continuously, deploying commercial levers and promotional strategies to address growth gaps.
2. Assortment Planning & Operational Excellence
Trend & Assortment Betting:
Partner with design and sourcing teams to identify high-conviction seasonal fashion trends, driving revenue through fast-track, speed-to-market collections.
Pricing & Sourcing Governance:
Maintain healthy average selling prices (ASP) and clean pricing architecture across brands while managing disciplined buying and re-order cycles.
GTM & Grid Execution:
Lead seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) calendar adherence, overseeing pilot-to-scale frameworks and managing the mix between core and seasonal inventory.
Consumer Connect & Insights:
Conduct regular consumer research and focus groups to translate fit, style, and pricing feedback into actionable design adoption strategies.
3. Team Leadership, Learning & Culture
Capability Building:
Promote continuous learning and professional development across direct reports, fostering functional and analytical growth.
Team Health & Culture:
Build an inclusive, high-ownership work environment, actively driving engagement and collaboration based on team feedback.

Qualifications & Key Requirements
Education:
MBA from a top-tier business school (IIM/ISB/XLRI or equivalent) or Master’s in Fashion Management (NIFT or equivalent).
Experience:
6–10 years
of experience in Category Management, Key Account Management, or Brand P&L Management in E-commerce or Fashion Retail.
Retail Math & Commercial Acumen:
Deep understanding of unit economics, margin structures, discount depth planning, and inventory turnover.
Trend & Supply Chain Agility:
Familiarity with fashion trend cycles, agile supply chain models, and seasonal buying pipelines.
Analytical Mastery:
Strong proficiency in data-driven decision-making (Excel, SQL, Tableau) with an ability to translate platform metrics into commercial action.
Stakeholder Management:
Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional Design, Sourcing, Revenue, and Marketing teams.
