Responsibilities:
Drive the design, development, deployment, and improvement of elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools, proposing new technical solutions which may include ensuring reliable backends, implementing responsive and User Experience (UX)-rich frontends, or enhancing the performance of existing tools and services.
Architect and optimize complex pipelines and back-ends to serve data, via representational state transfer application programming interface, anticipating future issues to build for scale.
Make critical technical contributions including writing and leading reviews for design documents, tests, and code using frameworks like Angular and React while identifying dependencies.
Lead the development and implementation of data driven web applications, with a focus on responsive front-end interfaces that connect users to LLM APIs, collaborating across teams to address complex business problems in global affairs.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
6 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
Experience with front end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).
Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Experience leading root-cause analysis for live, high-traffic applications and implementing innovative solutions to drive systemic improvements during critical operations.
Experience designing and architecting scalable web applications that connect agent solutions to enterprise knowledge bases and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Experience proposing and integrating new AI technologies, frameworks, or stacks to augment, improve, or automate the development process and drive engineering efficiency.
Experience developing applications used within law firms, in-house legal/compliance departments, government, or related industry experience.
