Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, contributing to the overall success of projects and organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software quality and team productivity.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software development with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS.
• Experience in spatial data analysis and geospatial data management.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to integrate GIS solutions with other enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation within GIS environments.
• Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing geospatial applications.
Additional Information:
• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ESRI ArcGIS.
• This position is based at our Mumbai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
