We are looking for candidates to join the Asset Management function within our Private Credit team in the Financial Research group, based in Hyderabad. The Private Credit team underwrites investment opportunities across public and private corporate credit, commercial real estate, loan portfolios, and special situations in Europe and North America. The Asset Management function sits within this team, monitoring investment performance and deal cash flows, and managing key commercial aspects of the portfolio including exit strategies, servicer effectiveness, and pricing.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead and support complex front office initiatives involving external stakeholders, including investment sale processes and designing and establishing new workflows that ensure scalability, governance, and alignment with business objectives. You will contribute to the development and execution of asset exit strategies, and support restructuring and amendment processes by coordinating with legal counsel, servicers, and counterparties to maximize recovery value and minimize risk exposure. You will review and enhance current analytical processes by developing robust frameworks and thematic reporting, drawing on financial modeling techniques including cash flow analysis, ROI, IRR, and DCF to generate actionable insights that support research and portfolio oversight. You will identify manual and repetitive processes and lead automation initiatives to improve team efficiency, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance operational scalability and free the team to focus on higher-impact work.
Who we're looking for:
Basic qualifications:
An MBA or equivalent in Finance, with 3 to 10 years of experience in asset management, credit, investment banking, special situations, or a related function
Proficiency in project management; with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Working knowledge of debt structures and credit agreements
Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders and drive complex transactions to completion
The ability to work independently and collaboratively with trading desks and stakeholders
Exceptional communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
Prior experience in consultancy roles, with exposure to deal exits and process management
