Consumer & Shop Insights Associate Manager

Overview PepsiCo Global Insights created a worldwide ecosystem of shared insight, analytics and foresight expertise led by distributed global leadership team & principles. As the footprint of these capabilities develops, a need for center-led support for servicing the business has critically emerged. PFUS, one of the core business sectors of PepsiCo is looking at continuously innovating its portfolio & growing revenue and to that end the BU seeks strong expertise and partnership with ICC. To meet this challenge, we are investing in a subject matter expert who will be in a position to manage projects & deliver tailored learnings to the BU. This person will be expected to work with the BU & third party vendors like Zappi, Kantar, etc to deliver reporting, analytics and day-to-day customer support. This role will be based in Hyderabad and the candidate is expected to have extensive previous creative testing / brand health testing (quantitative consumer research), project management and analysis experience. The role will be critical to increase the impact and efficiency of these capabilities by facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise across ICC and PepsiCo regions, executing ad-hoc projects by using all sources of information available in the program and supporting to create compelling stories. Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities: Work on project-based report storytelling and recommendations – provide objective, expert perspective (“so what”, “why” and “what to do” synthesis) to Sector Insights teams in PFUS. Build expertise in the ADA Creative & BBE Tools – methodology/interpretation and answer sector and BU questions and provide analytical support as needed Present some report sections under the supervision of a manager to key stakeholders in the insights team + support Insights team /present the results to the cross-functional teams and business leaders where needed Work closely with other Insights team members to lift and shift internal best practices. Stakeholder Management Address routine queries of stakeholders, requestors and end service users Qualifications 5 - 6 years Insights experience with prior experience in creative testing / brand health tracking - preferably in a market research agency like Kantar (specifically TNS), Ipsos or Nielsen. Existing research methodology knowledge, experience in giving actionable business recommendations based on learnings/synthesis of data Strong communication and project management skills. Experience of working with global, regional and local insights professionals required Communication Demonstrated skills with written communication – especially in PowerPoint and email Strong verbal and written communication – English Project Management Highly analytical, motivated and decisive with excellent project management skills. Proven experience of planning and conducting research projects achieving goals and objectives Organized: Capable of juggling multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders, ensure delivery while proactively managing trade-offs. Execution Demonstrated ability to manage projects and overcome challenges Ability to run at least 40% - 50% of consumer research analyses alone by leveraging various available data sources Ability to learn new tools quickly and start working in the different ways enabled by these tools (leverage the self-serve platforms)
